It’s that time of the year again – WWE Backlash! The event has been a staple in the wrestling calendar for many years and has always been an opportunity for WWE to shake things up and create new storylines. As we approach Backlash 2023, there’s a lot of speculation about what we can expect from the event. While I don’t have a crystal ball, I can share my thoughts on what might happen. So, don’t hold me to this, but here’s Heydorn’s take on WWE Backlash 2023.

First up, let’s talk about the main event. I think we’ll see a match between Roman Reigns and a returning John Cena for the Universal Championship. Reigns has been on an incredible run as the “Head of the Table” and has dominated the SmackDown roster. Cena, on the other hand, has been away from WWE for a while but is a proven draw and can still go in the ring. This match would be a big draw for fans and could potentially set up a long-term feud between the two.

The top woman in WWE Backlash for a while now

In terms of other matches on the card, I think we’ll see a women’s championship match between Becky Lynch and a returning Ronda Rousey. These two have a history from their feud a few years ago, and bringing Rousey back would be a huge coup for WWE. Lynch has been the top woman in WWE Backlash for a while now and a match with Rousey would be a dream match for fans. It could also potentially set up a long-term feud between the two.

Another match that I think we’ll see is a clash between Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee. Both men are incredibly talented and have been on the cusp of breaking through to the main event scene for a while now. A win for either man would be a huge boost to their careers and could potentially set them up for a future championship run

In terms of the tag team division, I think we’ll see The Usos defend their SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The New Day. These two teams have had some classic matches in the past, and a rematch at Backlash would be a great addition to the card.

Finally, I think we’ll see a match between Edge and Seth Rollins. These two have been feuding for a while now, and a blow-off match at Backlash would be a great way to end the feud. Both men are incredible in-ring performers, and a match between them would be a highlight of the show.

So, there you have it – my predictions for WWE Backlash 2023. Of course, anything can happen in WWE, and these matches may not come to fruition. But if they do, it’s shaping up to be a great event. Fans can expect some incredible in-ring action, high drama, and unexpected twists and turns. It’s what WWE does best, and Backlash 2023 promises to be no exception.
